Mobile Storage Decommission Project
Blue Orange Office Solutions undertook to decommission a mobile storage system to make way for more office workstations at the start of a major project that would see the floor being completely redesigned to incorporate meeting rooms, a cafe/kitchen area and a general office area to encompass one hundred and twenty staff members.
The work was treated as a mini project within the framework of the overall major refit of the offices.
The mobile storage system was carefully taken apart, noted and then wrapped before being stored into the basement. Each part was inspected for any marks and damage which was then recorded. All the mechanism and fittings were labelled and boxed.
The client had a requirement from their landlords to recommission the mobile storage at the end of the lease as part of any dilapidation works program.
The system together with the rails were all removed to leave the area open and ready for the commencement of the main refit project.
Blue Orange Office Solutions were selected, along with our fit out partners to create a new office for ARK at their Holborn headquarters.
